Azul Restaurante, located along the scenic Costera de las Palmas in Acapulco, is a distinguished Mexican culinary gem that effortlessly blends traditional Oaxacan cuisine with innovative culinary techniques. Guests rave about the restaurant’s exceptional offerings, with Eduardo Zuniga declaring the tacos to be the best he's ever had. The freshness of the ingredients shines through, as highlighted by Marisun Caamaño, who was captivated by the rib eye tostada paired with chicatanas sauce and the delightful octopus tlayuda.
Delta Enrique triumphs Azul as the best Oaxacan spot in Acapulco, praising its playful experiments with molecular gastronomy. Diners are particularly enchanted by the noodle soup with cream spheres and the uniquely stuffed plantain molotes. To finish the experience, the rice milk churros with chocolate create a remarkable finale. Furthermore, Yulz Gaso emphasizes the restaurant's inviting atmosphere and generous portions, with well-presented dishes that justify the premium pricing characteristic of signature restaurants.
Gerhard Gross sums it up perfectly as an outstanding culinary experience, leaving diners eager for a return visit. Azul Restaurante promises to be an unforgettable journey into the heart of exquisite Mexican flavors.

The exquisite flavors, the perfect freshness of the ingredients and the exceptional dishes. I tried a rib eye tostada with chicatanas sauce and an octopus tlayuda. Everything delicious. Excellent service.

The best Oaxacan restaurant in all of Acapulco. Not only does he use typical ingredients from Oaxaca, he also experiments with the famous molecular food and makes the experience very fun. I recommend the noodle soup with cream spheres or the plantain molotes stuffed with red wine spheres that explode in your mouth. Afterwards, the rice milk churros with chocolate are quite a spectacle

The place is beautiful and the atmosphere is very pleasant. We ordered tacos molina and tlayuda with octopus, chorizo, and beef. The portions are generous, well presented, and tasty. The prices are in line with the restaurant's style, as being a signature restaurant, you know these aren't cheap dishes.

A culinary experience! This restaurant is now called AZUL and the food is really Mexican haute cuisine, excellent ambiance, open kitchen so you get to see the masters in action! We were lucky enough to score an outside table, with spectacular views and the incomparable service of Juan Pablo! AZUL formerly known as Pitiona de Mar is a most when visiting Acapulco.
